All right, one of the major and most important advantages to the Drago GT corn head is the self-adjusting deck plates.
No matter the size of the stock, they adjust so you don’t have the butt shelling. The deck plates are also cushioned to help weaken the blow, so you limit your amount of butt shelling.
Also, as the ears are coming into the corn head. The stock rolls are physically longer, so they can turn slower and still do the same amount of work.
And the nice thing about this particular Drago corn heads is it’s a folding corn head. So, it eliminates the need for a header trailer when you move from one field to the next.
And one other major advantage to the GT corn head over most other corn heads is the fact that the only chains on this header are the gathering chains.
